What drove you to begin your profession as a caregiver?

After completing my college education, I worked for patient services and found I loved to help people and be their support system. Through my journey as a caregiver, I found joy and happiness in assisting clients in need. My daily work constantly motivates me- I consider myself lucky to be able to continue my professional growth through work I love.

How would you describe your profession as a caregiver?

My profession as a Caregiver is very fulfilling; and my daily routine involves supporting the individuals personal and companionship needs. I love to cook healthy food, so meal preparation is one of my favorite activities with clients to ensure they are eating right. I also support them as a companion, accompany them to doctor's appointments, and arrange transportation if required.

Care Indeed truly cares and values their caregivers. We are provided with regular training and resources to understand critical health conditions better and support our clients in the best possible ways. Care Indeed’s culture is very important to me because as a caregiver, I feel happy and productive at the same time.

Is there a golden rule you live by? If so, how has it helped you throughout your career?

I am always eager to improve my knowledge and skills. Learning new things that allow me to take better care of my clients gives me confidence.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to spend my free time with my family and friends - this time rejuvenates me. I also enjoy yoga, listening to music, and getting outdoors. I also take out time to pursue courses that help me improve my knowledge.

What do you think about being an employee of the month and anything you want to share with colleagues?

It feels great and motivates me to continue to do good in my job. In my own opinion, I think that respecting each other, integrity, love, and compassion are the foundation of good caregivers.
